Become What You Say is embroidered tulle corset referring to Lady MacBeth’s (Shakespeare) most famous lines.  The work questions if she really is the villainess that history has painted her out to be, or a victim of her circumstances. The fragility of the materials used and the words ‘worn’ as a corset, was she maybe a victim of her time?

Magic in the Web was a  celebration of the works of Shakespeare for the 400th Anniversary of his death Trident Textiles Collective, The Forum, Barrow-in-Furness 2016 & Florence Mine Arts, Egremont 2016.
