In response to Ruskin’s writings and research into cloud formations a series of mixed media and textile works were produced for a collaborative exhibition with Trident Textiles, at Brantwood in the Severn Gallery in May 2013. Trident Textiles are a textile collective of 8 artists, locally based in the Furness area, whom teach and exhibit nationally.



The two works were exhibited, ‘Deconstructed Storm Cloud’ and ‘Deconstructed Snow Cloud’. An exploration in textiles, taking apart the idea of the cloud and making it as a tangible ‘thing’. Abstract illustrative work through textile, embroidery and embellishment.
